Apple Crunch

  • 4 c sliced, peeled apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 c flour
  • 1 c brown sugar, packed and divided
  • 1/2 c butter
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Arrange the apples in a deep, buttered 8x8 baking dish. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and half of the brown sugar.
  • In a medium bowl, blend together the flour, remaining brown sugar, and butter with a fork. Sprinkle the topping over the apples, or if you'd prefer a more solid topping (and who wouldn't), firmly press the topping crumbs together to form a crust.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
