Chicken Shawarma
 
  • 1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Berbere spice (or turmeric+pinch cayenne)
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Whisk together and soak (preferably thin-sliced) chicken for as long as you have time.
  • Grill.
